What is Acticard?

Acticard is a computerised data base that will help you to monitor disease activity, response to therapy and damage development in SLE patients. Furthermore by using ACTICARD you will be able to build a complete data base of your SLE patients.

In 1990-1992, a European Consensus Group Study tested the performance of five activity indices (ECLAM - European Consensus Lupus Activity Measurement, SLAM - Systemic Lupus Activity Measure, SLEDAI - Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Disease Activity Index, SIS - SLE Index Score, BILAG - British Isles Lupus Assessment Group) after having prepared a computerised clinical chart containing all of the signs and symptoms defined using glossaries and standard references.

This program was used to give birth to ACTICARD, which you can now use to:

1. collect patient demographic and clinical data at each observation;
2. automatically calculate 5 disease activity indices (BILAG, ECLAM, SLAM, SLEDAI, SIS);
3. automatically calculate the SLICC/ACR damage index;
4. create a data base to perform statistical analysis.

OK, how can I receive it?

Acticard is free of charge but, before you can download it from the Acticard Download Page, you need to register (Registration Page); this will also allow you to obtain other periodic information and news.
